Luke Bolton is poised to join League One side Wycombe Wanderers on loan from Manchester City this month, journalist Pete O’Rourke reports.

The 19-year-old, a right winger who can also play as a right-back as he showed in pre-season with the first team, was an unused substitute in last night’s Carabao Cup semi-final second leg win over Burton Albion.
And after reportedly agreeing terms on a new three-and-a-half year deal at the Etihad, Bolton is now in talks to join Wycombe for the remainder of the season.
Should the deal be confirmed, it will be Stockport-born Bolton’s first loan spell away from City and will be the next step in his development.
Other League One clubs have shown interest in the teenager, but Gareth Ainsworth’s Wycombe are at the front of the pack and hope to secure the prospect on loan imminently.
