Sergio Aguero is missing from a second successive Manchester City matchday squad for tonight’s Carabao Cup semi-final first leg against Burton Albion at the Etihad.
Aguero isn’t being rested, but nor is he injured, with the well-informed Jose Alvarez, a personal friend of Sergio’s, explaining his absence.
Jose has revealed on Twitter that the Argentine, who struck in the 2-1 win over Liverpool in his last appearance, has been suffering from the flu and unable to train.
Kun is expected back in training tomorrow and should be available for selection next Monday night when the champions host Wolves.
Agüero was ill (flu) the last days and he couldn't train. It is expected he comes back to train tomorrow and he could be avalaible for monday game against Wolves.
