Manchester City are one of the clubs to have been showing interest in Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler, according to in-the-know PSG source Paris United.
Unsurprisingly given the source – known for its close connections to the Parisiens – Paris Saint-Germain are also keen on the 22-year-old, a 14-cap Spain international, and have held discussions with his representatives since October. Coach Thomas Tuchel is an admirer of the player’s profile.
And more locally, Barcelona have expressed interest in Soler, who has been a regular in the Valencia side since making his debut in December 2016.
The extent of City’s interest isn’t made clear by Paris United, but they are described as being ‘on the move’ for the player and are likely to be scouting his progress at the Mestalla.
Soler starred for Valencia and scored one of their goals in the 2-1 Champions League win over Manchester United in December.
