Manchester City talent Manu Garcia scored his first goal since joining French side Toulouse on loan against Nice tonight in the Coupe de France.
Nice are coached by Manu’s former Manchester City EDS boss Patrick Vieira, who the Spaniard has said he would like to work with again some day. He worked against Vieira this evening, scoring Nice’s fourth and final goal in a 4-1 win.
Garcia, who turned 21 on January 2nd, has made 17 Ligue 1 appearances for Toulouse this term, registering 2 assists, but tonight’s strike in France’s domestic cup competition was his first goal.
The promising midfielder is at his third loan club following a spell at Alavés and one-and-a-half memorable seasons at NAC Breda.
