Brahim Diaz is expected in Madrid to finalise his move from Manchester City to Real Madrid in the coming days.
Speaking on El Chiringuito TV, well-informed journalist Jose Alvarez revealed that the teenager will arrive in Madrid between January 5th and January 8th, with negotiations between the two clubs in the final stretch. Diaz will sign a contract for six-and-a-half seasons according to Alvarez.

City are expected to receive an initial fee in the region of €15 million for teenager Diaz, who is out of contract in June, with recent reports from Spain suggesting the deal could top €20 million after a series of achievable add-ons are triggered.
Diaz decided to quit the Etihad Stadium because of his minor role in Pep Guardiola’s squad, which has limited him to two appearances in this season’s Carabao Cup – one of which he took advantage of, scoring twice against Fulham.
Brahim will be the second high-profile Man City talent to leave the club in the last one-and-a-half years after Jadon Sancho moved to Borussia Dortmund. Local boy Phil Foden opted not to take that route, recently extending his contract until 2024.
