Southampton vs. Manchester City: Starting Lineups & TV Information

Manchester City are in dire need of a win this afternoon when they face Southampton after two successive defeats have them at risk of falling too far behind Liverpool in the Premier League title race.

The festive period has been difficult for Pep Guardiola’s side, despite returns for Sergio Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva – and today they have another potentially tricky away day against Southampton, who have been rejuvenated by the arrival of Austrian coach Ralph Hasenhüttl.

Paul Tierney is today’s referee and here are the starting lineups selected by Guardiola and his counterpart Hasenhüttl.

Southampton XI: McCarthy, Ramsay, Stephens, Bednarek, Targett, Ward-Prowse, Hojbjerg (c), Lemina, Romeu, Elyounoussi, Austin

Manchester City XI: Ederson, Danilo, Kompany (c), Laporte, Zinchenko, Fernandinho, David Silva, Bernardo Silva, Sterling, Mahrez, Aguero

The match can be viewed on Sky Sports Premier League in the UK. A full list of TV coverage across the world can be found here.
