Manchester City could be without Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan for tomorrow’s game against Southampton after the pair were not pictured boarding the team’s flight down south.
While it does not confirm thy will miss the game as they could have travelled separately, it is unusual for them to not be with the squad unless injured.
In photos posted by the press, neither Gundogan or KDB, who has suffered two bad injuries this season, were anywhere to be found, although in better news Fernandinho did fly with the others.
In his press conference today, Pep Guardiola made no reference to either player being injured, saying everyone is fit but that added there were “some problems” and decisions on several – including Fernandinho, Gabriel Jesus and Vincent Kompany – would be made tomorrow.
Brahim Diaz, who is expected to join Real Madrid shortly, was also not spotted in the photographs.
