Real Madrid have agreed the outline of a deal to sign Spanish wonderkid Brahim Diaz from Manchester City for €15 million (£13.6 million) plus add-ons, Marca reports.
Five years after leaving Malaga for City, Brahim is returning to his homeland and will sign a six-year deal with Los Blancos once the transfer is made official.
Only the details of the add-ons are holding up the deal, with Real Madrid planning to announce and present Brahim to fans next week.
For City, it is another wonderkid lost after Jadon Sancho, but the sole consolation is the significant fee they will receive considering the 19-year-old is out of contract in June.
Diaz will earn €3.5 million per season at Real Madrid and is expected to be part of the first-team for the remainder of the 2018-19 season.
The young attacking midfielder has made 14 appearances for City’s first team, scoring 2 goals – both against Fulham in the Carabao Cup at the start of November.
