Philippe Sandler, Claudio Gomes and Felix Nmecha eyed for triple loan deal in January – report

Galatasaray could take three of Manchester City’s most promising young players on loan in January as part of a new working agreement being forged between the two clubs.

According to Turkish source Aksam, three names have been discussed for temporary switches to Istanbul in January: Dutch defender Phillipe Sander (21), promising French starlet Claudio Gomes (18), and homegrown midfielder Felix Nmecha (18).

Those three names are said to have come up during a meeting recently between Galatasaray president Mustafa Cengiz and City bosses when the Turkish chief flew over the UK, with the scouting team preparing reports on the three.

While nothing is decided for sure yet, Sandler, Gomes and Nmecha, who’s older brother Lukas is on loan at Preston, appear to be leading candidates to experience the fiery atmosphere of the Türk Telekom Stadium in the Süper Lig.
