Manchester City will host League One’s Burton Albion in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final on Wednesday 9 January with a 7.45pm kick-off, with the date and time today confirmed.
City drew Nigel Clough’s side, who will enter the tie as massive underdogs, after overcoming Leicester on penalties in the quarter-finals, with Chelsea and Tottenham meeting in the other semi.
The Blues are reigning Carabao Cup holders and have won the League/EFL Cup five times in their history, in the 1969–70, 1975–76, 2013–14, 2015–16, 2017–18 seasons.
The club has released pricing for the home leg, with tickets available for as low as £7.50 for concessions.
A date and kick-off time for the second leg, due to take place in the week commencing 21 January, will be confirmed at a later date.
