Rotherham have completely sold out their allocation for January’s FA Cup third round match against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
The Championship club sold the last of their 5,519 tickets on Thursday morning with fans lining up outside of the AESSEAL New York Stadium to snap up the remaining tickets.
It will be a big day out for Millers fans, with Rotherham having not faced the Premier League champions’ first team since March 2002 when Ali Bernabia scored for the Blues in a 1-1 draw.
Paul Warne’s side are involved in a scrap to stay in England’s second tier this season, currently sitting in 20th place in the Championship and just 3 points above the relegation zone.
City host Rotherham in the FA Cup third round on Sunday 6 January at 2pm.
