The experienced Lee Mason will take charge of Manchester City’s Carabao Cup quarter-final against Leicester City on Tuesday night, a repeat fixture from last season’s edition of the historic competition.
City face Leicester twice in December, with a Premier League game to follow on Boxing Day, but it’s the Carabao Cup first up for Pep Guardiola and Claude Puel’s side.
47-year-old Mason will have the whistle, and it will be his third Man City appointment of the season, having been in charge of the 2-0 win over Brighton and more recently the 6-1 hammering of Southampton at the Etihad Stadium.
Leicester have also had Mason this season, back in the second round of the Carabao Cup when they comfortably dispatched Fleetwood Town.
Graham Scott will be the Video Assistant Referee for this fixture.
