Napoli midfielder Allan is emerging as a serious candidate to reinforce the midfield of Manchester City or Bayern Munich in the summer, with both clubs interested in the dynamic Brazilian.
Well-informed Napoli resource CalcioNapoli24 have been told by sources that City and Bayern are both keen on 27-year-old Allan, who City reportedly made some enquiries about recently.

Allan’s qualities are described as ‘popular with Guardiola’ who was impressed by the twice-capped Brazil international when City played Napoli in last season’s Champions League, but his general performances in the past one-and-a-half years have caught the eye of City’s manager.
Napoli have ruled out any sale of Allan in the short-term, with Carlo Ancelotti determined to keep him, but that stance could change next summer if Man City and Bayern Munich come calling. No official offers have arrived, with both clubs interested but making no formal moves yet.
City have had no luck in acquiring players from Napoli, having run into a brick wall when trying to sign Edinson Cavani during the Roberto Mancini era, and last summer chasing Jorginho over a long period of time only for Chelsea to snatch the Italy international.
The hope will be that if City do make a move for Allan, things will be much more straightforward this time…
