Manchester City vs. Hoffenheim (Champions League): Starting Lineups & TV Information

Manchester City host Bundesliga side Hoffenheim at the Etihad Stadium tonight looking to officially confirm top spot in Group F of the Champions League.

If Lyon lose or draw, City’s result tonight is irrelevant, but should the French side beat Shakhtar Donetsk in the other group game and Hoffenheim upset City, OL will top the table by way of the head-to-head rule having beaten and drawn with City over their two fixtures.

Julian Nagelsmann’s side are fully capable as City found out in Germany when an 87th minute David Silva goal gave Pep Guardiola’s men a slightly fortuitous win that turned their Group F fate around.

Young Swedish referee Andreas Ekberg is in charge tonight and here are the starting lineups selected by Guardiola and Nagelsmann.

Manchester City XI: Ederson, Laporte, Stones, Otamendi (c), Zinchenko, Gundogan, Foden, Sané, Bernardo, Sterling, Jesus

Hoffenheim XI: Baumann, Brenet, Kaderabek, Geiger, Grillitsch, Bittencourt, Adams, Schulz, Hubner, Kramaric, Joelinton
