Isco’s problems at Real Madrid are becoming well documented, with the talented playmaker not fancied by the recently appointed Santiago Solari.
The player’s problems in Madrid have led to obvious speculation and like every year since 2013, Manchester City are being mentioned as a possible destination for Isco should he quit the Bernabéu.
In recent days, the Catalan press has even claimed that City would go all-out to sign Isco, who looked all set to follow Manuel Pellegrini to the Etihad Stadium in 2013 before a phone call from Zinedine Zidane took him to Madrid.
If that is true, then the interest may well be mutual, with Eduardo Inda, director of OKDIARIO, making a huge claim on El Chiringuito TV last night.
According to Inda, Isco has told a Real Madrid teammate that he wants to leave the club and would jump at the chance to join Man City – if they make an offer for him in the January transfer window.

The 26-year-old would reportedly love to develop under the tutelage of Pep Guardiola, but it remains to be seen if the Catalan will try his luck with Isco, especially after ruling out any transfer activity in January.
City are not short on midfielders of an attacking nature, with David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Ilkay Gundogan and Phil Foden also capable of occupying similar roles, and it would make Isco seem like something of a luxury signing at this point.
