Manchester City are in France tonight for their penultimate game in Group F of the Champions League. They face a Lyon side the Blues are now fully aware they must take seriously after the Ligue 1 side came out deserved winners in the reverse fixture at the Etihad Stadium.

Guardiola’s team are three points clear at the top of the group, but a defeat would send Lyon top again by way of the head to head rule and put first place in doubt for City. Therefore, it’s important for the Blues to come away with at least a draw.
