Spanish giants Real Madrid will sign one of Manchester City’s brightest young talents, Brahim Diaz, when his contract at the Etihad Stadium expires in June, Jose Alvarez has told El Chiringuito TV in Spain.
It has been rumoured for months that Madrid want the 19-year-old, who has rejected new contract offers from City, as part of their rebuilding plans, and Alvarez said an agreement has been found between the two parties.

City will lose Diaz for a small compensation sum and will not receive any transfer fee of note, despite the youngster’s talent.
Though Phil Foden is ready to sign a new contract, Diaz has decided that following in Jadon Sancho’s footsteps is the best course of action, although many are questioning if Real Madrid is the right career choice and if they will offer him any more game time.
Brahim has not played a single minute of Premier League football this season, and such is the strength in depth at City, he has not been seen since scoring twice against Fulham in the Carabao Cup at the start of November.
