Jadon Sancho could wear the sky blue of Man City again in future with information from Dean Jones of Bleacher Report offering hope of the ‘one that got away’ returning some day.
18-year-old Sancho has just been named Bundesliga Player of the Month — recognition of just how well he’s playing for German leaders Borussia Dortmund — and on top of that he’s won his first England caps after Gareth Southgate called him up.
There’s been mixed reports on if City have any clauses to get Sancho back, but BR states they DO have a first option on Jadon and if any club makes a successful bid, City have the right to sign him at the same price.
The big question would be — would Sancho want to return after a less than friendly departure which included him boycotting training? The answer according to Dean Jones, is that he IS open to a return and bears no grudge against his former club.
So there is a chance of Sancho returning to City in what would surely be a Paul Pogba like situation where the blues would have to pay a gigantic fee to get a player back who they sold for around £8m.
Let us know — would you like to see Jadon Sancho back in blue some day?
