Manchester City’s run of home games comes to an end at the conclusion of the international break with a trip to West Ham’s London Stadium.
The journey south also means a reunion with former City gaffer Manuel Pellegrini who won the Premier League during his spell at the Etihad, and who boasts City legend Pablo Zabaleta among his ranks.
Overseeing Saturday’s game will be experienced referee Andre Marriner, who has been announced as the match official today.
It will be Marriner’s second City appointment of the season and Blues will hope for a similar score to the last one – August’s 6-1 demolition of Huddersfield at the Etihad Stadium.
The 47-year-old had the whistle for four City games last season, interestingly all of them away days – wins over Newcastle, Arsenal and the memorable season finale against Southampton, and the 4-3 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield in January.
Match appointments for West Ham vs. Manchester City (24/11/2018):
Referee: Andre Marriner
