In Jesus’ Footsteps? Man City among clubs keen on Brazilian wonderkid Bruno Roberto – report

All of the Premier League’s top clubs, including Manchester City, are monitoring Brazilian wonderkid Bruno Roberto, who could soon head to England’s top flight, the Mail on Sunday reports.

The 18-year-old attacking midfielder has only just broken into Atletico Mineiro’s first team, but his performances have attracted scouts from Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham.

Bruno is being tipped to follow in Gabriel Jesus’ footsteps by jumping straight from Brazil to the Premier League, but City would face serious competition for the teenager with Premier League rivals all scouting him.

Brazil is a famed hotbed for young footballing talent but many have headed to countries such as Portugal, Holland and Ukraine before progressing to the top leagues, however Bruno is considered such a talent that he may skip that step and move to England in the near future.
