Man City present at Stadio Mario Rigamonti to watch the ‘new Andrea Pirlo’ – report

Manchester City have become the latest club to show interest in Brescia sensation Sandro Tonali, who is being compared to the great Andrea Pirlo.

The 18-year-old has already won his first call-up to the senior Italy side and has both Juventus and Chelsea showing interest in him.

And Manchester City could be added to that list after having scouts present at the Stadio Mario Rigamonti on Sunday to watch Tonali in Brescia’s 4-2 win over Hellas Verona.

Tonali, who is stylistically similar to Pirlo — hence the comparison — scored Brescia’s second goal before half-time and is sure to have made an impression on City’s delegate in northern Italy.

The youngster is under contract at Brescia until 2021 but they may find it hard to reject a good offer if the likes of City, Chelsea or Juventus come knocking.
