Manchester City stars have begun receiving their regular international call-ups ahead of November’s international break – but one in-form City star continues to be snubbed.
Despite emerging as one of the Premier League’s finest centre-backs this season, Aymeric Laporte has once again been left out of the France squad by Didier Deschamps.
While many will feel Deschamps knows his best squad, given France won the World Cup, Laporte’s ongoing snub while the likes of Adil Rami of Marseille and Crystal Palace’s Mamadou Sakho seems baffling.
Benjamin Mendy has been included in the France squad for upcoming games against the Netherlands and Uruguay, but Laporte might want to reconsider his allegiance to France with Spain still interested.

No surprises with the England squad meanwhile, as Fabian Delph, Raheem Sterling, John Stones and Kyle Walker have all been summoned for the Three Lions’ Wembley games against the USA and Croatia.
All set for our final games of 2018! 💪

And Bernardo Silva is in Fernando Santos’ latest Portugal squad to face Italy and Poland this month.
