Manchester City vs. Southampton: Starting Lineups & TV Information

Manchester City can become outright leaders of the Premier League this afternoon if they keep up their formidable home form with a win over Southampton.

Liverpool had to settle for a 1-1 draw at Arsenal on Saturday, meaning City can move two points clear of Jurgen Klopp’s side with a win, while a draw would put them top again on goal difference.

City fans will have fond memories of the last game against Southampton, which saw Gabriel Jesus’ last gasp strike to ensure Pep Guardiola’s men finished the season as not just champions, but Centurions.

Lee Mason is today’s referee, taking charge of his second City game this season, and here are the sides selected by Guardiola and his rival boss Mark Hughes:

Manchester City XI: Ederson, Walker, Stones, Laporte, Mendy, Fernandinho, David Silva (c), Bernardo Silva, Sané, Sterling, Aguero

Southampton XI: McCarthy, Soares, Stephens, Hoedt, Bertrand (c), Lemina, Hojbjerg, Ward-Prowse, Ings, Long, Redmond

The match is NOT on television in the UK. A full list of TV coverage across the world can be found here.
