Real Betis will revive their interest in Manchester City’s Oleksandr Zinchenko during the January transfer window, according to Spanish newspaper Diario AS.
And it seems he is still on the radar of Betis who failed late in the summer window to sign him after City refused their offer.
Betis lost Riza Durmisi to Lazio in the summer and that has left them short at left-back, a role Zinchenko has performed well in for Pep Guardiola’s Man City, in the absence of Benjamin Mendy and Fabian Delph.
The Spanish club’s head coach Quique Setien wants Zinchenko to provide competition for Junior Firpo, the talented youngster Manchester City have been reported to be interested in.
Zinchenko’s future could depend on his situation in January – he is back in favour under Guardiola after no appearances in the early stages of the season, but with Mendy and Delph returning to training could see his playing time limited again.
