Turkish giants Fenerbahce are considering a January loan move for Manchester City’s Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fanatik reports.
The 21-year-old is back in favour under Pep Guardiola after good performances at left-back following injuries to Benjamin Mendy and Fabian Delph, but could find himself sidelined again when both are available.
Zinchenko’s agent has already confirmed that they would be willing to speak to Napoli again, after they showed interest, but Phillip Cocu’s Fenerbahce are also interested according to a report from Turkey.
Cocu coached Zinchenko during his loan spell at PSV Eindhoven in Holland but gave him very few opportunities in the first team. This time, it is claimed that the Fenerbahce coach would be willing to assure the Ukraine international plenty of minutes.
Zinchenko is expected to assess his options again in January after almost joining Wolves and Real Betis in the summer, only for both deals to collapse.
