Manchester City have been boosted by several returns to training ahead of the weekend clash against Burnley at the Etihad Stadium.
Kevin De Bruyne trained on Tuesday which will come as no surprise given that he was back training prior to the international break and was even considered for the Liverpool game.
Left-backs Benjamin Mendy and Fabian Delph, who both missed the internationals with injuries, were both involved giving Pep Guardiola a potential selection headache in that position with Oleksandr Zinchenko in good form.
Summer signing Philippe Sandler was also pictured with the group after recovering from surgery that kept him out of pre-season following his move from PEC Zwolle.
Several young players including Adrian Bernabe and Cameron Humphreys also joined the first team with a shortage of senior players who are still away on international duty.
City are top of the Premier League heading into the weekend tie against Sean Dyche’s side but only on goal difference, and are tied on 20 points with Chelsea and Liverpool after eight matches.
