Manchester City could be set to recall Australian wonderkid Daniel Arzani from his Celtic loan spell if Brendan Rodgers doesn’t integrate the 19-year-old into his first team plans in the next six weeks.
Arzani was loaned to the Scottish club for two years following his summer arrival from Melbourne City but has only played for their reserves so far.
Australian source The World Game reports that City can use a get-out in the deal should Arzani not feature by December, giving Rodgers one and a half months to make a call on Arzani, who he has felt is not ready for the first team yet.
Should City decide to recall the Socceroo winger he would be loaned to another club, with NAC Breda a potential destination. The Dutch partner club was originally mooted as a destination for Arzani who is considered to be one of Australia’s best young talents since Harry Kewell.
