Manchester City youngster Oleksandr Zinchenko is open to a January transfer to Napoli, agent Alan Prudnikov has confirmed to Italian radio station Radio Marte.
Zinchenko, 21, has worked his way back into Pep Guardiola’s plans after injuries to left-backs Benjamin Mendy and Fabian Delph, but could still be tempted to move in January if he sees his playing time reduced again.
Prudnikov said: “We are always open to proposals coming from Italy. Napoli showed interest both over the summer and the year before, but never managed to find an agreement with Manchester City.
“I met with [Napoli director] Giuntoli and we laid down the foundations of a deal with Zinchenko, but the two clubs could not agree on a fee. We’d be ready to discuss it again, though.”
Zinchenko starred in City’s 2-0 win over Brighton prior to the international break and played the full 90 minutes in Ukraine’s 1-1 draw with Italy on Wednesday.
