Raheem Sterling nominated for September Premier League Player of the Month award

In-form Manchester City star Raheem Sterling has been nominated for September’s Premier League Player of the Month award.

The England winger was in excellent form last month, showing a new-found maturity that Pep Guardiola has spoken of, while scoring against Newcastle, Fulham and Brighton in league games. Raz also clocked assists against Cardiff and Brighton in a very productive month.

That has led to the 23-year-old being named on the six-man list of nominees for the Player of the Month award, which Sterling has won once before back in August 2016.

Sterling has some tough competition for the award, particularly from Chelsea’s Eden Hazard. Alexandre Lacazette, Gylfi Sigurdsson, James Maddison and Willy Boly are also nominated and you can vote at the EA Sports website.
