Cardiff vs. Manchester City: Starting Lineups & TV Information

Manchester City will look to bounce back from a midweek horror show this afternoon when they face Cardiff City in Wales.

The Blues slumped to a shock defeat at the hands of Lyon in the Champions League and fans will hope today’s performance is more in line with last weekend’s win over Fulham than Wednesday’s, with Neil Warnock’s side certain to be ready and fired up for the visit of the champions.

Though newly-promoted, Cardiff did face Pep Guardiola’s men last season in the FA Cup, a controversial game in which Joe Bennett injured Leroy Sané as Cardiff took a physical and direct approach and made City suffer for their win.

Michael Oliver is today’s referee and here are the starting lineups selected by Guardiola and his counterpart Neil Warnock:

Manchester City XI: Ederson, Walker, Laporte, Otamendi, Delph, Gundogan, Fernandinho (c), Bernardo, Sané, Sterling, Aguero

Cardiff City XI: Etheridge, Peltier, Manga, Morrison (c), Cunningham, Arter, Ralls, Camarasa, Reid, Hoilett, Ward

Today’s match is NOT on TV in the UK but is in other parts of the world. A full list of TV coverage from around the world can be found here.
