Sergio Aguero underwent tests this morning on an ankle issue that led to him being substituted early in the second half against Fulham on Saturday.
And according to Spanish journalist Jose Alvarez, a personal friend of Kun, the news is good – the injury is nothing serious and it isn’t being ruled out that he could face Lyon in City’s Champions League opener on Wednesday.
After make a medical test to Kun Agüero this morning is discarded any big injury. It is only a knock and is not discarded that he could play on wednesday in Champions League (depends on the evolution of the pain). @elchiringuitotv

Guardiola will want to take no risks, so should Aguero feel any pain at all leading into the mid-week fixture, he will likely be rested or put on the bench, with Gabriel Jesus given a start.
Aguero’s fine goal scoring record against newly-promoted teams didn’t result in a goal against Fulham, but he did get a nice assist for Raheem Sterling’s goal shortly before being taken off.
