David Silva now has 50 Premier League goals to his name after capping off a wonderful team move to put Manchester City 2-0 up against Fulham after just 21 minutes today.
Following up on a Leroy Sané goal after just 97 seconds, City put together a typically slick passing move involving Fernandinho and Raheem Sterling, but really highlighted by the excellent Bernardo Silva, who was majestic in the first half.
Bernardo’s pass found its way to David Silva who fired in City’s second of the game. A bright start by City was rewarded by two early goals, putting them in a good position particularly after Liverpool extended their lead at the top with an earlier win over Tottenham.
