Manchester City are in growing danger of losing one of their brightest young talents, Brahim Diaz, with the player no closer to renewing his contract, Jose Alvarez reports.
19-year-old Brahim is out of contract next summer and according to Alvarez, some big clubs have asked about his situation and are showing interest. The teenager can begin negotiating with clubs abroad from January.
Brahim Diaz exceeded yesterday a new phase for winning the Golden Boy and he still didn't renew with Manchester City (and is not close right now). Since next January he could negotiate with other teams and BIG clubs just ask for his situation. More info coming in the next days…

Brahim, one of three City starlets still in with a chance for the 2018 Golden Boy award, has been locked in a contract stalemate with City and didn’t want to go out on loan to Girona this summer, something Blues bosses respected by keeping him around.
The 19-year-old has yet to appear in any of Pep Guardiola’s Premier League matchday squads, but did feature for 15 minutes in the Community Shield. The skillful Spaniard faces an uphill battle for any game time outside of the Carabao Cup in the coming months.
Losing Diaz would come as a big blow for City, who promoted he and Foden to the first-team squad last season – with both making enough Premier League appearances to receive a winners’ medal.
However, while Foden finds his first-team presence increasing and can expect plenty of minutes this season, Brahim faces intense competition for a spot, particularly after the club-record signing of Riyad Mahrez in the summer.
