Watch: Man City winger Brandon Barker scores stunner for Preston against Leeds United

Brandon Barker has scored two goals for Preston North End since his arrival on loan from Manchester City and both of them have been absolute beauties.

The 21-year-old has only appeared off the bench in the Championship so far for his new club, but in the Carabao Cup has started both of Preston’s games and bagged in each with nice goals.

Tonight, in the second round of the Carabao Cup, the local lad scored against Championship leaders Leeds with a stunning solo effort that saw him run at the Leeds defence before striking an unstoppable shot beyond Jamal Blackburn to put the visitors 2-0 up at Elland Road.

Barker’s goals in the cup will undoubtedly put him in contention to start more league games for Alex Neil’s side. His fellow City loanee Lukas Nmecha, who was on the bench tonight, has started all four of Preston’s Championship games but has yet to get off the mark.
