Permanent or loan? Update on Jason Denayer’s transfer from Manchester City to Lyon

Jason Denayer is expected to be announced as a new Lyon player imminently and according to new information from Belgium it will be a PERMANENT deal.

Reliable Belgian source Het Laatste Nieuws reports this afternoon that Denayer has agreed a four-year contract with the Ligue 1 side and other than a few final details that need clarifying, his move is complete.

According to Bilel Ghazi of L’Equipe, the 23-year-old trained with Lyon this morning ahead of his move being made official.

And Denayer, who will be leaving City with no competitive appearances and after four separate loan moves, has already been caught on camera in Lyon as a fan grabbed a selfie of himself with the 8-cap Belgium international.
