Manchester City have yet to announce the signing of Australia winger Daniel Arzani from CFG sister club Melbourne City, but we can pretty much consider it a done deal.
The 19-year-old winger has tonight been pictured attending Celtic’s Champions League qualifier against AEK Athens, all but confirming reports that he is joining the Scottish champions on a long-term loan deal.
Arzani, who is only costing City around £280,000 according to stories from Australia, is poised to join Celtic on a two-year loan and it is thought they will have an option to buy the Iran-born Aussie for an undisclosed fee – undoubtedly a big profit for Manchester City.
We may never see Arzani play in the sky blue of Manchester City, but he will soon be confirmed as a new player of the club and then a Celtic player on loan.
