Manchester City will soon add yet another wonderkid to their ranks by completing the signing of Dutch youth international Jayden Braaf after he quit PSV Eindhoven at the end of the season.
Braaf turns 16 on August 31 and will then be allowed to officially join the Premier League champions. The striker, considered one of the best players in his age group in Holland, was expected to join Chelsea and even had an agreement in principle to move to Stamford Bridge.
Then came Manchester City who convinced him of their youth project and the state-of-the-art City Football Academy where he will continue his development.
Braaf, who recently trained with NAC Breda, City’s partner club, posted a video on Instagram of himself in a City shirt, the first image of him in club gear.
The 15-year-old should go into City’s under-18s side once he officially joins the club and Blues bosses will hope he fulfills his enormous potential at the club.
