Official: NAC Breda land Serbia U21 midfielder from Manchester City on season-long loan

NAC Breda have announced the signing of highly-rated Serbian youngster Luka Ilić from Manchester City on a season-long loan deal.

Ilić, 19, a Serbia under-21 international and was signed by City last year with his younger brother Ivan from Red Star Belgrade, before the teenage pair were loaned straight back.

The midfielder arrived in Breda and underwent his medical along with other formalities in June, as City Watch exclusively revealed, but a long delay in paperwork held up an announcement until now. NAC made light of this in their hype tweet for his signing.

Ilić joins fellow City loanees Aro Muric, Erik Palmer-Brown and Paolo Fernandes at the club, while Ghanaian prospect Aminu Mohammed is also over in Breda and could stay for the season.
