It’s a busy day for outgoing Manchester City transfers with Bersant Celina already having signed a contract to join Swansea City on a permanent basis, and England under-21 starlet Jack Harrison also heading out.
Unlike Celina, Harrison is leaving the Etihad Stadium on loan, joining Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United for the season. Bielsa spoke to Pep Guardiola personally and decided that Leeds would be the ideal destination for speedy winger Harrison.
And the 21-year-old has this afternoon been spotted arriving at Elland Road, the home of Leeds, ahead of a medical and contract signing.
His move to Leeds could be confirmed as soon as today and will be his second loan spell in the Championship since arriving at Manchester City from New York City FC, after he spent half a season at Middlesbrough earlier this year.
