Manchester City forward set to follow Bersant Celina to Swansea in second deal between the clubs

Bersant Celina, who has joined Swansea City for an initial £3million, looks set to be joined by another Manchester City starlet at the Liberty Stadium – this one on loan.

England youth international Lukas Nmecha, one of the brightest talents on City’s books, is telling friends that he will be joining Swansea on loan this coming season, according to reliable journalist Alan Nixon.

Blackburn Rovers have also been credited with an interest in the 19-year-old, who scored in City’s 3-2 ICC win over Bayern Munich recently, but it looks like he’ll be linking up with Celina in the Swans’ attack.

The Germany-born England under-21 international started in all three of City’s ICC games against Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool and Bayern Munich, a sign of how highly regarded he is at the Etihad Stadium, despite big names being missing after the World Cup.

Lukas was handed three first-team cameos by Pep Guardiola last season and has also been linked with a move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce, but his immediate future could be in England’s Championship.
