Manchester City set to loan young striker out with Swansea and Blackburn interested – report

He scored against Bayern Munich in last night’s friendly and 19-year-old Manchester City whizkid Lukas Nmecha could have plenty more chances to find the net this season – out on loan.

According to Alan Nixon, reliable for all things EFL, City’s highly-rated young striker will be allowed to go out on loan this season to gain more experience.

And at the head of the pack are Blackburn Rovers, who have been in talks for an unnamed City player, and relegated Swansea City, looking for a quick return to the Premier League.

The Germany-born England under-21 international started in all three of City’s ICC games against Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool and Bayern Munich, a sign of how highly regarded he is at the Etihad Stadium, despite big names being missing after the World Cup.

Lukas was handed three first-team cameos by Pep Guardiola last season and has also been linked with a move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce, but his immediate future could be in England’s Championship.
