Sky Italia: Miralem Pjanic’s agent proposed an offer to Juventus from Manchester City on Monday

Manchester City denied having ANY interest in Miralem Pjanic once again yesterday and are adamant about that – but in Italy, multiple sources continue to insist that the Premier League champions are pushing for the gifted Juventus midfielder.

And the trend has continued tonight in style with the team at Sky Italia claiming Fali Ramadani, the new agent of Pjanic, met with Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici on Monday to propose an offer from City. They even have footage from the meeting.

Juventus are desperate to hold on to the Bosnian ace and to ward off suitors have slapped a price-tag of €100million on his head. They want to try and start contract negotiations to keep Pjanic in Turin with the likes of City and Chelsea claimed to be after him.

On paper Pjanic is an ideal alternative to Jorginho, who Chelsea pipped City to, but the club continue to brief members of the press that they have no plans to sign the player, which means they are either working very quietly or Pjanic’s agent is mischief-making, perhaps with the intent to get his client a bumper new deal.

Pjanic made 28 starts in Serie A last season for Juventus, scoring 5 goals and contributing 8 assists in their title-winning season. He also averaged a pass accuracy rate of 90.2% and 66.7 passes per game.
