Fali Ramadani, the new agent of Juventus superstar Miralem Pjanić, has offers from Manchester City, Chelsea and Barcelona ‘on his plate’ for the Bosnian international, transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio reports.
Speaking on Sky Italia tonight, Di Marzio said all three clubs had made verbal offers to Ramadani, who recently took over Pjanić’s affairs, signalling their intent to sign the gifted midfielder.
Juventus do not want to sell Pjanić and their intention is to renew the 28-year-old’s contract with a wage increase. They had contacts with the player today to try and understand his intentions.
If Pjanić did express a desire to leave Turin and join City, Chelsea or Barcelona, the Italian champions would hope to extract a huge fee in the region of €100million (£89.5million).
The information from Di Marzio contradicts noises from the Etihad Stadium today which insisted that City will NOT pursue another central midfielder after failing to sign Jorginho, who joined Chelsea.
Ramadani is an agent known for sharing information to Italian sources, so the likelihood is that this news is straight from his mouth. Whether it is genuine or a strategic briefing to get Pjanić a better deal from Juventus remains to be seen…
