NAC Breda have confirmed the signing of Spanish prospect Paolo Fernandes from Manchester City on a one-year loan deal. It will be the second season running that the 19-year-old plays at the Rat Verlegh Stadion.

Last season, Paolo made 25 appearances in the Eredivisie for the City Football Group partner club, scoring two goals.
He is the only member of last year’s Man City loan crew in Breda to return, and will be surrounded by a new group from Manchester. Erik Palmer-Brown, the USA international, has already joined, with he and Fernandes set to be joined by Serbia under-21 international Luka Ilić once the paperwork for that deal is finalised.
City-owned Ghanaian starlet Aminu Mohammed is at NAC for an internship, his second spell training with the Dutch club, and highly-rated goalkeeper Aro Muric has visited Breda, and despite returning to City for pre-season, is still an option to join NAC on loan once Ederson returns.
