Manchester City starlet set to join Toulouse FC on season-long loan deal – report

Manu García is set for a third loan move away from Manchester City with the player on the verge of joining Ligue 1 side Toulouse FC for the 2018-19 campaign, French newspaper L’Equipe reports.

Speculation of the 20-year-old heading to France surfaced last week on the heels of suggestions that Toulouse are about to enter the City Football Group.

And it appears that Manu, a talented midfielder who spent last season at NAC Breda, will indeed be playing at the Stadium de Toulouse next season as one of two new signings on their way along with former Tottenham midfielder John Bostock.

García joined Manchester City in 2014 and worked his way up through the youth ranks, eventually impressing Manuel Pellegrini who handed the young Spaniard four appearances in the 2015-16 season.

A loan move to Deportivo Alavés in La Liga in 2016 came too soon for a player then in his teens, and after no league appearances there, he was relocated to NAC Breda, helping them win promotion to the Eredivisie and then becoming one of their star players last season.
