Watch: John Stones heads England into the lead against Panama

Manchester City’s John Stones broke the deadlock today at the World Cup when his well-guided header put England in front against Panama.

Centre-back Stones has begun adding more goals to his arsenal in the past year, scoring 3 times last season for the Blues in 29 appearances – all of them coming in the Champions League.

Stones’ goal against Panama came via a corner by City academy graduate Kieran Trippier, and Panama’s Jaime Penedo could do nothing to keep it out.
