As things stand, only one of Manchester City’s six players who spent last season on loan at partner club NAC Breda is expected to return, BN DeStem reports.
Paolo Fernandes, 19, is expected to return to the Rat Verlegh Stadion for the 2018-19 season, with Angeliño, Manu García, Pablo Marí, Thierry Ambrose and Thomas Agyepong unlikely to return as things stand.
Winger Fernandes was initially in and out of the side, but became more important as the season went on and was starting regularly in the closing period of the season.
Angeliño is on the verge of a move to Dutch champions PSV, Ambrose is on the radar of Bordeaux, while García and Marí are also subject to interest from bigger leagues.
NAC are working hard to get 4-5 new talents from City in addition to Fernandes, with Serbian youngster Luka Ilić expected to join.
City Watch has learned from a source in Breda that EDS forward Lorenzo Gonzalez, 18, is also under serious consideration to join next season’s loan crew at NAC.
