Riyad Mahrez is a step away from finally joining Manchester City with everything agreed, beIN SPORTS journalist/commentator Hafid Derradji has claimed.
In an Arabic language tweet, Derradji wrote: “The signing of Riyad Mahrez for Manchester City has become a matter of time with everything agreed.”

Mahrez almost joined City in the January transfer window, but Leicester’s unrealistic valuation of around £90million meant the eventual Premier League champions walked away from the deal. The Foxes tried to include Patrick Roberts in the deal and he could still join them, but that is expected to be a separate transfer.
An irate Mahrez, who temporarily went on strike at the King Power Stadium, continued to hope for a move to the Etihad Stadium though, and is now set to link up with Pep Guardiola in a deal that will reportedly cost the Blues £60million up-front with a series of add-ons to follow.
And if the claim of the well-known Hafid Derradji is true, this protracted transfer may be in its final stages…
