Manchester City’s pursuit of Jorginho is now in doubt with Napoli remaining stubborn over their demands and City, as they have proven to be in recent transfer windows, standing firm on their valuation of their transfer targets.
City believe Jorginho to be worth around €45million and are reluctant to go much higher, while it has been suggested that Napoli want up to €60million for him. This has caused an impasse, even though the player himself has been expecting a transfer to happen and even held a farewell dinner in Naples.
Napoli have asked City for more time, but Pep Guardiola is running low on patience and Txiki Begiristain is exploring other options.

However, TMW reports that the player’s entourage are starting to doubt that a deal will go through, with the two clubs still failing to agree a deal and Guardiola’s eyes turning towards the Santiago Bernabéu and Mateo Kovačić…
