If true, it means, as the Italians like to say, that the white smoke has arrived and an agreement has been found between the clubs for the 26-year-old, who has been on international duty with Roberto Mancini’s Italy.
The same outlet claims that Jorginho will sign for a fee in the range of €50million (£43.8million) and sign a contract worth €20million over the next four years.
It has been a transfer saga of much conflicting information, but if this latest news is accurate, Jorginho is just one step away from Manchester City…
